“Dank” is a slang word used in cannabis culture to describe something that is considered particularly desirable or of high quality.

Origin of Dank

The word originally comes from English, where “dank” means damp, dark or dense. In slang, however, the meaning has been reversed, so that it is used positively in connection with cannabis. Over time, the expression has become widespread in music, internet culture and youth language, and today it is also used more generally to mean something that is “cool” or “fat”.
