Static Hash
Static hash is a fine and natural cannabis extract produced through electrostatic sieving, a gentle method where trichomes are separated from the plant material using static electricity, without the use of liquids or chemicals. Our static hash contains less than 0.2% THC and fully complies with current legislation in Denmark.
What is static hashing?
Static Hash is produced through a method called static separation, where static electricity is used to separate trichomes from the plant material. Trichomes are the resin-filled glands that contain cannabinoids and terpenes. This method is solvent-free, which means that it is possible to preserve the natural properties and aroma of the plant. The method is also incredibly gentle and selective towards the plant material, resulting in the most mature and pure trichomes. All of our products undergo laboratory testing to document the content of cannabinoids, in particular to ensure that the THC level is below the legal limit of 0.2%.
How does Static hash differ from other hash types?
Static sift hash differs from other forms of hashish in that it is extracted using static electricity, whereas other forms of hash are extracted using, among other things, mechanical sieving, water-based methods or pressing. With mechanical sieving, the products are instead obtained dry sift hash, where the appearance has a more sand-like consistency. If you instead use water-based methods to extract hash from cannabis plants, you get a creamier consistency and appearance of the product. This applies to products such as bubble hash, where you can clearly see how the expression is more melting than with other extraction methods.
Static Hash Extraction
The method of extracting hash through static separation contributes to a special cleanliness. This happens when static electricity sorts the fine trichomes from the rest of the plant material, resulting in a hash with a natural texture, dry crumble and a crystalline appearance. Each batch has its own distinctive character, depending on the genetics of the variety and trichome maturity. Static hash is typically not something that is mass-produced, instead time and energy are put into the extraction of the product. This is clearly reflected in the many details that are retained in the finished product.
Common to all our products is that they comply with both Danish and European legislation. This means that our products do not contain more than 0.2% THC. In addition, all our products come from legal European hemp plants.
